
Rooster Fried Rice 🍚 a bowl of fried rice is certainly one of my go-to meals if I have to whip one thing up shortly, nice for utilizing up veggies or leftover meat. 😘😘 Recipe for two under:
INGREDIENTS
150g basmati rice (I used brown)
300g cooked rooster, shredded
150g mushrooms, sliced
Greens (I used spring greens)
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 thumbsized piece of ginger, grated
Chilli paste
2 tbsp low sodium soy
2 tbsp honey/ketjap manis
Spring onion, nuts and lime to serve
METHOD
Prepare dinner rice based on packet directions. In the meantime in a not stick frying pan or wok, drizzle a bit olive oil, add within the cooked rooster, mushrooms and greens and stirfry for 5-6 minutes. Add the garlic, ginger, chilli paste and a bit spring onion. Prepare dinner for a few minutes. Stir within the cooked rice for a few minutes. Stir within the soy sauce and honey/ketjap manis. Serve in bowls sprinkled with nuts and spring onion and a lime wedge on the aspect. Get pleasure from!!
