
Cod, Broccoli & Parsley Sauce Bake – Not the prettiest of dishes however actually tasty, wholesome and simply what we wanted after every week of indulgence 😘😘 It is a nice dish for the entire household our little man beloved it!! Recipe for four under:
INGREDIENTS
four Cod Fillets, I used frozen
1 Broccoli head, chopped into florets
40g butter or olive unfold
40g plain flour or brown rice flour
500ml milk (I used oat milk)
salt and pepper
four tbsp finely chopped parsley
2 tbsp chopped chives
Peas and rice or potatoes to serve
METHOD
Preheat oven to 180°C fan, Soften the butter in a saucepan over a medium warmth. Stir within the flour and cook dinner for 1–2 minutes.
Take the pan off the warmth and progressively stir in one-third of the milk. Return to the warmth and simmer, stirring, till all of the milk is absorbed. Repeat this course of till all of the milk has been added.
Simmer gently for five minutes and season with salt and white pepper, stir within the parsley and half of of the chives.
Place the cod and broccoli into an oven proof dish and pour over the sauce. Prepare dinner for 20-25 minutes till the fish is cooked by. Serve with cooked peas and rice and sprinkle with the remainder of the chives. Get pleasure from!!
