
BOLOGNAISE
My most favouritest and bestest meals to eat (sure these aren’t actual phrases). However I’m critical – ask anybody in my household what Tanya’s fave meal is and it’s at all times – ‘mum’s spaghetti bolognaise’ simply makes my mouth water typing it. It’s the juicy meat within the tangy sauce – legit brings me again residence – everybody is aware of nostalgic meals is one of the best of its type
•
1 giant onion, sliced
three garlic cloves, crushed
500g/ 1lb of mince/floor beef
1/four cup purple wine (if u have)
half tube or 1 can of tomato paste
1 can or 1 1/four cup tomato sauce
Salt and pepper
Oregano and basil
Sauté onion in olive oil.
As soon as translucent add garlic and proceed to sauté till aromatic.
Add in beef and break up into smaller clumps and brown.
Then delglaze the pot with purple wine.
Add in tomato paste, sauce and seasonings.
Replenish the can/ cup with water twice (as in 2 cups or simply below 2 cans filled with water). Convey to a boil after which simmer on low warmth till desired consistency- I prefer it thick.
Serve on high of rice, spaghetti and even quinoa.
